Program Requirements Participants will be selected for program membership based upon the following criteria:

  • 2.75 Cumulative high school GPA
  • Previous involvement in leadership activities and projects
  • Enthusiasm and motivation for self-improvement and leadership
  • Willingness to challenge and broaden one's perspective

Participants will be selected to represent a variety of backgrounds, interests, and
experiences to enhance the educational component of the program.

There will be a review process at the completion of each year to determine continuation in the program based upon the member's commitment to the program, as well as successful completion of the previous year's requirements.

All Four Years

  • Participation in class sessions
  • Retreats
  • Workshops
  • Community service
  • Program committee

In addition to the above:
Year 1

  • Participation in organization

Year 2

  • Issues project
  • Leadership project
  • Leadership position in organization

Year 3

  • Development of retreats and/or conference
  • Mentor a Year 1 participant
  • Facilitate workshop
  • Leadership position in organization

Year 4

  • Service internship with community mentor
  • Coordinator of service project
  • Continued leadership position in organization
