The Pittsburg State University Wind Ensemble will join with the Southeast Kansas Symphony for a concert they have titled “Home for the Holidays” at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2, in Pittsburg’s Memorial Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.

According to Craig Fuchs, director of the PSU Wind Ensemble, the program will open with a traditional band concert. The Symphony, under the direction of Raul Mungia, will join the ensemble for the second half of the program, which will feature a variety of holiday music, including an audience sing-a-long.

Following the performance, the audience is invited to join the performers for warm apple cider and cookies in the lobby.
