Security officials have offered some guidelines and suggestions for persons who will be attending President Bill Clinton’s address Monday at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts at Pittsburg State University.

The first piece of advice is to arrive early. Doors will open at 3 p.m. and guests are asked to be in their seats by 4 p.m.

Another suggestion is to avoid carrying large bags or purses. All guests will be screened as they enter, but large, bulky items will need to be examined individually.

President Clinton is the first speaker in the recently announced H. Lee Scott Speaker Series: An Examination of American Life.
