Pittsburg State University will hold two winter commencement exercises on Friday, Dec. 14, in John Lance Arena. Students in the College of Education and the College of Technology will graduate at 5:30 p.m. and students in the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Business will graduate at 7:30 p.m.
Regent Ed McKechnie will bring greetings from the Kansas Board of Regents and PSU President Steven A. Scott will offer brief remarks at each ceremony.
For persons unable to attend the event, the university offers a live feed that may be accessed over the Internet. The live feed will begin a few minutes before each ceremony begins, but users may test their device’s ability to play the Flash video at any time by visiting the registrar’s page, www.pittstate.edu/registrar, and clicking the link to the commencement page.
Also on the registrar’s commencement page, visitors will find additional information for graduates, their families and guests, including a complete graduation day agenda, information for handicapped accommodation and parking instructions.
University officials said 478 students are eligible to participate in commencement.
