Call for Submissions: January 2026 Issue – Contemporary Issues & AI

The Midwest Quarterly invites submissions for the January 2026 issue focusing on Contemporary Issues & AI. We seek articles that explore the multifaceted impacts of artificial intelligence on society, culture, and ethics.
 
Important Dates
Brief Statement of Interest/Intent & Abstract Deadline: July 1, 2025
Full Manuscript Submission Deadline: August 1, 2025​

Submission Guidelines
Length: 12–18 double-spaced pages, including bibliography.
Format: Typed, double-spaced, 12-point font, 1-inch margins.
References: MLA or APA style.
Footnotes: Avoid using footnotes.
Audience: Content should be engaging and understandable to non-specialist readers.
Submission: Send as a Word document attachment via the submission form.
Priority Consideration: Submissions from authors based in the Midwest region will receive first consideration.​
