Position Responsibilities: The Assistant/Associate Director of University Housing provides administrative leadership to assure that the residential programming component of the department contributes to a productive living-learning environment for students. This position serves as a member of the supervisory management team charged with oversight of University Housing services.

Minimum Requirements: For both title designations, master’s degree in Student Personnel, or related area; proven supervision, programming, staff selection, crisis management, discipline, staff training and leadership development skills required. For Assistant Director, five years minimum post-Master’s level student housing experience, plus full-time professional staff supervision. For Associate Director, seven years plus post-Master’s level student housing experience, plus professional full-time staff supervision with varied levels of experience and skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience with facilities, budgets, summer camps and conferences, apartment management and living learning communities. Proficiency in personal computers and related software applications, particularly housing management systems, such as StarRez, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
