Position Responsibilities: Pittsburg State University (PSU) Department of Accounting and Computer Information Systems (ACIS) seeks a visiting professor starting on or before fall 2017, pending budgetary approval. This is a general accounting position. Special consideration given to applicants with auditing research, teaching, or work experience. The ACIS department provides a sound foundation for students to complete certification programs, including CPA, CIA, CFE, and CMA. A priority will be given to candidates with a passion for and focus on teaching who have obtained professional certification. This position offers a unique opportunity to further develop courses for the accounting program. One-year appointment with the possibility of reappointment, pending budgetary approval.

Minimum Requirements: The position is open to doctoral applicants with accounting emphasis from accredited schools. Applicants with ABD status will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience and record of scholarly work are highly desired.
