REGISTRATION IS OPEN UNTIL JUNE 2 FOR 12 PARTICIPANTS for this THREE-DAY WORKSHOP.
Registration is $600.00 that will cover all materials (see below).
(Accommodations/Hotel are not included in this fee.)
- Each Individual will fabricate a utility trailer from blueprints.
- Students will be applying computation and problem solving skills using oxy-fuel, plasma arc cutting, drilling and GMAW equipment. Attendees will improve their welding and fabrication skills to produce a quality product.
- Students will take the utility trailer with them at the conclusion of workshop. This trailer will be approximately 5' wide, 4' tall, and 9' long (we are still in the design phase). We are wanting it to be pulled behind a 4 wheeler or garden tractor.
Kyle Kopsa has been teaching welding at NCK Tech College for 15 years, prior to that he was a vocational agriculture instructor for 4 years. He is a certified welding inspector, certified welding instructor, and holds various welding certifications in SMAW, GMAW and GTAW. He is active in Skills USA, and is a member of the AWS.
Curtiss Anderson has been teaching at NCK Tech for 3 years, prior to teaching he was a production/ fabrication welder for 6 years. Curtiss is a graduate of the NCK Tech welding program, while in school he received 5 gold metals at local, state, and national welding competitions (Skills USA). He is also a member of the AWS and Skills USA.
