REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO 12 PARTICIPANTS
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
Attendees will learn basic wiring procedures for switches, 3-way switches, receptacles, and lights. National Electrical Code requirements will be addressed and explained. We will also cover residential electrical schematics and symbols.
PRESENTER:
Chris Wilson has been teaching Industrial Engineering Technology at FHTC for 5 years. Before that, he was maintenance supervisor at Camso, a manufacturer of rubber tracks in Emporia. Chris holds a Bachelor's Degree from Emporia State University, and also holds an MT1 (Manufacturing Technician Level 1) Certification from the Manufacturing Skills Institute. Chris has led several summer workshops in the past, including Hydraulics and Pneumatics and Industrial Wiring.
NOTE: Workshop will run until 4:00 pm Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday will run until 12 noon.
