Biography

 

Shelly Grimes, M.S. Ed., is an instructor and Fitmess/Aquatics Director in the Department of Health, Human Performance, Recreation & Dance and has served on the undergraduate faculty since 2010.  She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from PSU in 1993 and 1995 and is currently pursuing her Educational Doctorate Degree at the University of Arizona.


Mrs. Grimes teaches in the area of group fitness, Lifetime Fitness Concepts, water aerobics, athletic conditioning, First Aid/CPR, Zumba, and physical education activity courses.  She has done personal training, athletic rehavilitation, taught aerobic fitness classes at all levels for 20 years, and taught public school Physical Education for 10 years.  She an AAHPERD and KAHPERD member.
