The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college, boasting 13 departments, 3 interdisciplinary units, and more than 50 degree programs! Our programs span a wide variety of fields from the humanities, like English, Art, and History, to the natural sciences, like Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The Polymer Chemistry Initiative at Pittsburg State University is a research focused educational program offered along side the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Polymer Chemistry. The Polymer Chemistry Initiative is the combined efforts of the Chemistry Department, Plastics Engineering Technology Program, and the Kansas Polymer Research Center to ensure a diversified and enriched learning experience with exposure to the latest equipment and variety of real-world applications.
