Pittsburg State University offers a wide range of scholarships to assist students with paying for tuition, books, and other needs. You can find more information on some of these opportunities below. Keep in mind that many departments offer their own scholarships to students enrolled in their programs, and it can be important not only to check the GUS list, but also call or email the department about any specific aid they may have to offer.

General University Scholarships
You are eligible to be considered by completing the PSU On-Line Scholarship Application. Complete your application by February 1st of each year. To be eligible to be considered for need based scholarships, complete the scholarship application by February 1st and file the FAFSA by March 1st of each year.

If you are a child of an alumni and are a zero-hour freshman or a new transfer student you may qualify for the Alumni Legacy License Plate Scholarship.
If you are a child or grandchild of an alumni and are considered a nonresident, you may qualify for the Legacy Scholarship Program.
