Taking Summer Courses?
Pittsburg State University offers more than 450 summer courses, in a wide variety of disciplines. Courses are generally offered in four-week and eight-week sessions, although intersession and short courses are also available. Coursework begins early June, and ends late July.

Limited on-campus housing is available for students that wish to take summer courses.

Tuition for summer courses is paid by the credit hour - See Taking 9 or less credit hours. For additional information, please see Registrar's page and look for "Cost (Tuition & Fees)"

Flat Rate Tuition
Unlike many other schools, at Pitt State you pay a flat tuition amount for 10 credit hours or more, which lets you add extra credit hours to your course load during the fall and sprng semesters without incurring any additional per-credit-hour cost. Whether you're taking 10 credit hours a semester or 18 credit hours, your cost is the same.
